Pineapple Upside Down Cake

I first made this cake when I was at school. You can eat it with cream, ice cream, or custard.

This is a retro style pudding useful for using up apples, and needing only sugar, and two eggs.

These are so easy to make. I remember my mother making these, filled with tinned fruit.

Try these as a change from chipped, baked, or roast potatoes. You can experiment with different fillings.

This is the only rice pudding I remember from childhood. Topped with nutmeg, and with extra cream. Delicious.

Pork loin coated with homemade breadcrumbs, and served with two dipping sauces.

Children will love these little cakes.

This is a versatile ‘ Kartoffelsalat ‘ . Good on it’s own, or as an accompaniment to Schnitzel.

Minced beef in a tomato sauce, noodles/ pasta, topped with a cheese sauce.

An easy dessert. Serve with ice cream, or a lemon sauce.
