Milk Chocolate Cake

Ingredients:

For the Cake:

175g SR flour

25g cocoa

200g caster sugar

25ml (½ tsp) salt

100g margarine

2 eggs

75ml (5 tbsp) evaporated milk

75ml (5 tbsp) water

50ml vanilla essence

For the Icing:

30g marg

1tsp cocoa

1tbsp hot milk

few drops vanilla essence

100g icing sugar

Method:

  1. Line and grease two 20cm cake tins.
  2. Put flour, cocoa, sugar, salt and rub in margarine
  3. Stir in 2 beaten eggs, the evaporated milk, water and vanilla essence
  4. Pour into the tins
  5. Bake in the oven at 180*C for 30 – 35 minutes
  6. To make the icing melt the margarine, add cocoa, hot milk and vanilla essence
  7. Stir in the icing sugar
  8. Decorate
