Ingredients:
75g Butter
175g Wholemeal Flour
200ml Fresh Milk
100g Broccoli Florets
300g Red Kidney Beans, drained
100g Cheese, grated
3 Eggs
150ml Fresh Single Cream
Method:
- Rub butter into flour until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs. Mix to a dough with 45ml of the milk. Roll out on a floured work surface and use to line a 23cm flan tin. Bake blind at 200c for 10 minutes
- Cook the broccoli florets in boiling water for 2-3 minutes. Drain well. Arrange in the base of flan case with kidney beans and cheese
- Beat eggs, cream and remaining milk together and pour into flan case
- Bake for 35 minutes until set. Serve hot or cold
